Four decades of the Rear of the Year competition
Welcome to the official home of the annual ‘Rear of the Year’ competition and a celebration of four decades of turning the nation’s media spotlight on some of the most stylish and fashionable celebrity posteriors.
We invite you to nominate both the male and female celebrities who you think deserve this year’s ‘Rear of the Year’ awards and remind yourself of some of Britain’s top celebrity bottoms from yesteryear.
The 2019 winners were Amanda Holden and Sir Andy Murray.

The ‘Rear of the Year’ is a light hearted award presented annually to British celebrities with prize-winning rear assets. It was created by publicity consultant Tony Edwards and is organised by Rear of the Year Limited.
The ‘Rear of the Year’ trophy is presented to both a male and a female celebrity each year but a pre-event list of contenders is never published so that bookmaker speculation on the outcome is pure conjecture.
Congratulations to this years male rear - Sir Andy Murray!
