Hole #1
The Par 4, 356 yard 1st hole appears to be a relatively easy hole
at first glance but 'out of bounds' stakes line the entire right side of the
hole with the driving range located just to the right of the fence line.
The green has a steep grade which can make for a difficult uphill putt. Trees of varying sizes protect the left side approach while a sand bunker protects the approach from the right side. A good green to be aggressive on the approach shot but beware the 'errant long shot' as the back side of the green is well protected with deep rough and many mature trees. The normal wind direction out of the southwest usually results in a crosswind from the right but will shift from time to time to a more southerly flow and as a result, directly into your face.
