Hole #11
The par 3, 164 yard, 11th hole is the club's signature hole. From
the blue tees you are looking at a shot out through a chute laced with a thick
cropping of trees along the entire left side and the Welland River just left of
the trees. The entire approach to the green slopes toward the left side with out
of bound stakes just inside of the tree line.
The green is heavily sloped as well with everything dropping off directly to the left or left front. Your tee shot must be to the top right of the green in order to hold without rolling off to the left but beware a shot slightly further right of your intended target as there is a sand trap protecting the right side of the green. Hit the trap and you face a very difficult shot with little hope of holding the green. Pin placements towards the center of the green - count on a 3 putt. Tee shots past the green can get caught up in the trees or even worse, through the trees near the 12th tee block. Blue Tees: 164 yards
