The Par 5, 440 yard, 12th hole is reasonably short for a par 5 but requires two good shots to hit the green in 2. The back tees are aligned with the right side of the fairway. Most of the fairway is banked from left to right dropping off to a deep rough followed by trees and brush and eventually the Welland River. The entire left side is marked with out of bounds stakes.

    A shot to the top right side of the fairway will most likely kick down to the lower left side of the fairway giving you a below the ball stance. The best approach to this hole is to place your drive to the top right flat near the edge of the fairway but avoid a shot further right as it will place you behind several small to midsize trees.

    The green is reasonably large and undulating but is well protected with a sand bunker to the left and deep rough and trees to the left side and back.
