The 143 yard, 15th hole is the shortest and easiest par 3 at Oaklands. From the back tees it is only 143 yards to a wide open, sloped and receptive green.

     It isn't without trouble, however, as there is a water hazard to the right ready to accept the muffed tee shot. The left side of the green is protected by a sand bunker and the back of the green by deep rough and a thick treed area. Further to the extreme left is a bank of bush and small trees along with out of bounds markers.

    The green itself is undulated and has a steep grade making for some interesting putts depending on the pin position of the day. A missed downhill putt could find your ball rolling off the front of the green.

      The normal prevailing winds for this hole puts the wind into your face on most days but its effects are not felt below the tree line. Beware the high shot on a windy day.
