From the Tee

Hole #17

The Par 4, 368 yard, 17th hole is a relatively easy and open par 4. The shot from the tee block is fairly wide open with a clear line of site to the fairway. The approach shot is also somewhat risk free.

Off of the tee, the only real trouble would arise from an errant shot to the left. The left side of the hole is protected by an earth berm, well placed small and mature trees and deep rough. The ride side can present  a little trouble as well due to a well placed scattering of mature trees.

The normal prevailing wind on this hole puts it directly across into your face. Look at the wind to knock down the high lofted approach shot but beware that a shot that is too long will end up in the deep rough or fescue that protects the  back and left side of the green. No bunkers on the approach to this medium sized green make it easier to hit and hold on most days.
