The 450 yard, 18th hole is a relatively short par 5 but presents a
few challenges. The dogleg left is scattered with trees of varying sizes and
forces a reasonably accurate tee shot. A shot to far to the left side and
chances are, you will be blocked out from any possibility of going for the green
in two. A shot to the right and you leave a relatively long approach shot out of
the deep rough amongst a spattering of small well placed trees. The best shot
from the tee is to hug the left side of the fairway and let the ball run to the
center at the 200 yard marker or beyond. A good tee shot will place you inside
of the 200 yard marker with an open shot to an elevated green.
The green is relatively flat but is elevated and protected by sand bunkers to the left and right with deep rough protecting the back side. The front approach to the green is open but sloped uphill. Normal wind direction - crosswind slightly into your face.
