Hole #6
The Par 4, 381 yard, 6th hole boasts 2 tee blocks with completely
different lines to the fairway. The tips are most commonly found on the elevated
tee block to the right side. The shot from this tee puts two large mature trees
directly in line with the center of the fairway. You must clear the trees in
order to land in the center of the fairway or risk landing either in the
deep fescue to the left side or into the trees strategically placed at driving
distance just off of the fairway to the left.
The other tee block is located to the left side and offers a more direct line of site with little obstruction other than the tree and fescue trouble to the left. The approach to the green is tricky as the green is 2-tiered with a deep sand bunker directly behind the green. Thick trees off to the right and scattered yet mature trees to the left ensure that the green is well protected.
