Hole #7

The Par 4, 361 yard, 7th hole is one of the easier par 4's at Oaklands. The shot from either tee block is fairly wide open with a clear line of site to the fairway. The approach is also somewhat risk free as well

Off of the tee, the only real trouble would arise from an errant shot to the right. The entire right side of the hole is protected by bush and out of bounds markers. Place your shot to the right side and you may find yourself blocked out by two large mature trees just inside of the 150 yard mark.

The normal prevailing wind on this hole puts it directly at your back. This can cause trouble on the approach as a shot that is too long will end up in the deep rough or even worse into the trees that protect the entire back side of the green.
