Hole #9
The Par 5, 458 yard, 9th hole is reachable in 2 but not without
danger. The tee shot from the back tees requires accuracy to prevent blocking
out the shot to the green. An errant shot slightly left will place the ball in
the trees or behind the trees blocking any chance at a shot at the green. A tee
shot slightly to the right and the ball may land in the deep rough or behind the
trees also preventing the shot home in 2. A good tee shot down the middle will
place you in the vicinity of the 200-220 yard range and still require a good
approach to land the green.
The green is fairly large and receptive to most shots with a small sand bunker off to the left. Beware the long approach or you may find yourself near the clubhouse or in the rough behind the green. The normal prevailing wind out of the southwest results in a crosswind into your face on most days.
